Former F1 racer killed in accident

Former Formula One driver Andrea De Cesaris was killed in a motorcycle accident here on Sunday, according to local reports.

De Cesaris, who competed in the 1980s and 1990s, crashed his vehicle into a concrete barrier, killed on impact, reported sports daily La Gazzetta dello Sport on its website.

De Cesaris started 208 F1 races but never won any.
