Su becomes first Asian to make 100m final

Chinese sprinter Su Bingtian made history on August 23 as he made the men's 100m final at the IAAF World Championships in Beijing. Su became the first Asian-born athlete to break 10 seconds barrier with 9.99 seconds, as well as run the blue -ribbon sprint event final.

 Su Bingtian celebrates after the men's 100m final. He finished ninth in 10.06 seconds in the competition.
