The Brazilian international scored 56 goals in 97 league matches and won three trophies with Zenit.

Zenit St Petersburg's Brazilian forward Hulk is set for a medical on Wednesday ahead of a $60 million move to Chinese Super League club Shanghai SIPG.

The move would make Hulk the most expensive transfer in Asian football history.

Hulk has experience playing in Asia, starting his career in Japan before earning a move to Porto. After a successful stint in Portugal, he moved to Zenit St. Petersburg, where he has scored 75 goals over the past four seasons.

The 29-year-old has earned 49 caps for the Brazilian national team, playing at the 2014 World Cup and most recently at the Copa America Centenario.

Shanghai SIPG are coached by the former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson.
