Point guard Jamaal Franklin scored 61 points, including ten 3-pointers on Sunday to power Shanxi past the visiting Beijing 125-114 in the sixth round of the 2016-2017 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league.

Franklin finished with a game-high 61 points while four of his teammates scored double digits.

Beijing, that missed the veteran Stephon Marbury who sat at the bench due to his leg injury, had a two-point lead into the fourth quarter.

From 104-all, Franklin scored six straight points including four free throws to help Shanxi establish a comfortable lead 110-104.

Marbury's fellow American teammate Randolph Morris had a team-high 29 points and 12 rebounds, which proved to be not good enough.
