Evergrande wins to extend CSL lead

Brazilian striker Ricardo Goulart scored twice as defending champion Guangzhou Evergrand smashed Liaoning Carsing 3-0 to keep its leadership on Thursday in the 21st round of 2017 Chinese Super League.

Brazilian Paulinho, 29, broke the deadlock for the defending champion in the 34th minute, and Goulart extended the lead in the 69th minute and sealed the victory by a header in the 85th minute.

Shanghai SIPG's Brazilian forward Elkeson scored from Hulk's pass only 5 minutes after the opening whistle, and Argentinean Ezequiel Lavezzi equalized for Hebei China Fortune in the 70th minute.

Three minutes later, Gao Zhunyi scored to make Hebei China Fortune lead the game, but He Guan equalized in the 90th minute for Shanghai SIPG who were 5 points less than Guangzhou Evergrand in the second place after this round.

Elsewhere, Beijing Guoan tied Tianjin Quanjian 2-2.
