Guangzhou Evergrand draw against Chongqing Lifan 2-2

Defending champion Guangzhou Evergrand were forced to a 2-2 draw by Chongqing Lifan and their advantage was cut down to 4 points over second placed Shanghai SIPG in the 26th round of 2017 Chinese Super League.

Zheng Yourong broke the deadlock through a free kick for Chongqing Lifan in the 16th minute, and Gao Lin's header in the 28th minute equalized for Guangzhou Evergrand and he scored again in the 60th minute only to see Brazilian Fernandinho equalized in the 79th minute for Chongqing Lifan.

It was the second consecutive draw for the defending champions Guangzhou Evergrand, while Shanghai SIPG took the chance to narrow the gap to 4 points by beating Beijing Guoan 1-0 on Friday.

Brazilian midfielder Oscar scored the only goal in the 32nd minute from his compatriot Hulk's pass to give Shanghai SIPG the victory.
