Aolong stunned the strong championship contender Shandong with a 114-102 victory in Beijing on Tuesday in the second round of the CBA.

Aolong stormed to a sweet early lead 33-17 in the first quarter before the home team expanded the advantage to 27 points after three periods. Although Shandong tried hard to trim the deficit, Aolong never looked back to seal the victory.

"We did a good job today. Defense and rebounds are the two key factors to win a game. We still need time to be more mature," said Aolong head coach Ding Wei after the game.

Shavlik Randolph had a big double-double with 39 points and 16 rebounds. Zaid Abbass scored 21 points and Stephon Marbury had 14. Ty Lawson led Shandong with 32 points. Ding Yanyuhang had 27 points and Donatas Motiejunas added 13.

Beijing turned a three-quarter 8-point deficit into an 8-point win over Jiangsu 89-81 by a 26-10 strong fourth quarter run.
