Liaoning snap Jiangsu's 4-game win streak

Lester Hudson scored a game-high 26 points to lead four players scoring double digits as Liaoning defeated Jiangsu 112-80 to snap its four-game winning streak in the 5th round action of the 2017-2018 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Wednesday.

Against the visitors who remained unbeaten so far, Liaoning led the first quarter 22-13, enlarged the gap gradually with a 29-point advantage into the final quarter, keeping the victory firmly in hands.

Guo Ailun also scored 22 points for the hosts, while Jiangsu who was without the service of Marshon Brooks, could only stop the clock by fouls.

Seeking for its first victory of the season, Sichuan failed to grab the chance again, losing to Shanghai 114-105. The unstoppable Jimmer Fredette made a double-double with 50 points and 10 rebounds, helping Shanghai to rally back from a 16-point deficit for the road win.

In Wednesday's other matches, Aolong made a comeback win over Shanxi 109-101, Guangsha beat Shenzhen 121-98 although Jared Sullinger scored a game-high 35 points for Shenzhen, Guangzhou edged Bayi 94-93.
