Bosnia and Herzegovina's (BiH) soccer player Senad Lulic has officially decided to retire from the national team on Friday.

Lulic emotionally said that he has made this decision with help of his family and closest persons.

"Life choices are never made overnight, especially when it comes to love that I have towards BiH and jersey of country I love. However, it is time to say goodbye," Lulic wrote on his Facebook.

"Sometimes the play was bad, sometimes good, but the crown of my career, like for all of us, is placement in the World Cup in Brazil," Lulic added.

In his nine years of playing for BiH soccer team, Senad Lulic, 31, played 57 matches and scored four goals. Until today, he played for Swiss BSC Young Boys, Grasshopper Club Zurich and Bellinzona. Since July 1, 2011, Lulic had scored 23 goals in 193 matches playing for Italian SS Lazio.
