Ma Long takes men's singles title at China Open

Ma Long won his seventh ITTF World Tour tournament singles title after beating teammate Fan Zhengdong 7-11, 11-8, 11-4, 11-3, 14-12 at China Open final on Sunday.


"China Open is the first large-scale tournament after World Championships, so I wanted to perform well. The margin is quite large in game 3 and game 4, my ability to turning the situation still has to be improved, comparing to Ma Long," said Fan.


"I am happy to play the final against Fan, defeating such a competitive player increase my self confidence," said Ma.
