An own goal by Serbian defender Nemanja Pejcinovic helped Shandong Luneng beat Changchun Yatai 2-1 on Saturday in the 13th round action of the Chinese Super League.

The win lifts Shandong to the top of the league table with 27 points. But if Beijing Guo'an beat Tianjin Quanjian FC on Sunday, they will leapfrog Shandong on the standings.

Nigerian Odion Ighalo broke the deadlock for Yatai in the 24th minute, and Italian midfielder Graziano Pelle equalized for Shandong with a header just two minutes into the second half. Pejcinovic of Changchun Yatai scored an own goal in the 67th minute.

Also on Saturday, Chongqing Lifan snapped a five-game losing streak with a 2-1 victory over Tianjin Teda.

Brazilian striker Alan Kardec opened the scoring for Lifan in the 10th minute, before Hui Jiakang shot from distance in the 33rd minute to equalize. But Kardec was on target again in the 46th minute to seal the victory for Lifan.

Elsewhere, Beijing Renhe beat Dalian Yifang 3-1, while the highly-anticipated clash between Shanghai SIPG and Guangzhou Evergrande was postponed because of typhoon.
