Croatia beat Team Blue of the Chinese men's basketball national team 79-73 on Friday night, lifting the trophy of the Stankovic Continental Cup 2018 in Shenzhen, China.

China Team Blue was silent at the beginning of the fourth quarter, while the Croatians made a 16-0 run. The hosts kept cutting the deficit in the last two minutes, but they couldn't avoid losing in the final game of the tournament.

Josip Bilinovac, the shooting guard of Croatia, finished with a game-high 27 points and 3 steals. He was hot from three-point line tonight, making 4 of his 5 attempts. Domagoj Vukovic added 14 points and 9 rebounds.

Veteran Zhou Peng, who played for Guangdong Southern Tigers in the CBA league, scored 15 points. His club-mate Hu Mingxuan added 14 points and 4 rebounds. Both of them were named best five players of the tournament. The other three are Josip Bilinovac, Karlo Zganec of Croatia and Makram Ben Romdhane of Tunisia. Bilinovac also won the MVP of 2018 Stankovic Cup.

Tunisia ended up as runner-up and China Team Blue finished third. China Team Red remained unbeaten in this tournament. But their game results didn't take into account as they had flied to Jakarta for the first group stage match of Asian Games against the Philippines.
