Seedings for Champions League group stage draw

Following are the seedings for the Champions League group stage draw, which is scheduled to take place on Thursday in Monaco. Teams from the same country cannot meet each other in the groups.

The seedings are as follows:

Pot 1 (reigning champions, Europa League winners and champions from the six best European leagues):

Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, Lokomotiv Moscow

Pot 2 (on UEFA coefficient):

Borussia Dortmund, Porto, Manchester United, Shakhtar Donetsk, Napoli, Benfica, Tottenham Hotspur, Roma

Pot 3 (on UEFA coefficient):

LiverpoolSchalke, Olympique Lyon, Monaco, Ajax, CSKA Moscow, PSV Eindhoven, Valencia

Pot 4 (on UEFA coefficient):

Club Brugge, Galatasaray, Young Boys Bern, Inter Milan, Hoffenheim, AEK Athens, Viktoria Plzen, Red Star Belgrade
