Freiburg sign Hungary international Sallai

Freiburg reinforced their squad after signing striker Roland Sallai from Apoel FC, the Bundesliga club confirmed in an official statement on Friday.
The 21-year-old Hungarian, who will wear the jersey no. 22, has put pen to paper on an undisclosed contract to join Freiburg.
"Roland is a versatile offensive player who likes to play on the wings. He will quickly gain a foothold and develop with his good attitude. He fits absolutely in our requirements profile," Freiburg's sporting director Klemens Hartenbach said.
The striker played since 2017 for Apoel Nicosia and scored nine goals in overall 29 club appearances.
"I really wanted to join Freiburg and I am glad that the transfer worked out. Freiburg has a very good reputation among young players and the Bundesliga is a big challenge. I am looking forward to my new colleague and the stadium," Sallai said.
Freiburg will clash with Hoffenheim at the 2nd round in Bundesliga on Saturday.
