Ana Sofia Goncalves struck all four goals as Portugal beat Japan 4-1 to secure the women's futsal gold medal at the Youth Olympics on Wednesday.
Goncalves found the back of the net three times in the first half before adding another goal after the interval. Rikako Yamakawa netted a late consolation strike for Japan.
The scoreline did not reflect the evenness of the match with Japan managing 12 shots on target compared to Portugal's 15.
In the bronze medal match, Spain romped to an 11-0 victory over Bolivia with Antonia Martinez and Yarima Miranda both netting hat-tricks and Antia Perez bagging a brace.
Spain finished the match with 52 attempts on goal to Bolivia's 11.
