The Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games is recruiting university graduates of 2019 to fill 44 openings for 37 staff positions. The recruitment process began on Wednesday.
Next year's new graduates from domestic universities as well as those graduating from accredited overseas universities between Aug. 1, 2018 and July 31, 2019 will be considered. The applicants should be of Chinese nationality.
The graduates should apply on the official recruitment page at https://recruit.beijing2022.cn. Each graduate can only apply for one job opening.
The organizing committee will review the applicants' qualifications and give feedback on the recruitment page. The number of qualified applicants is expected to be six times or more for each job opening, although the position could be cancelled if the number of qualified applicants is below six.
The application and vetting period will end at 2 p.m. on Nov. 23.
A notice about the written examination part of the process will be released following the application period. The written examination will be held on Dec. 8. The exam will test the applicants' language aptitude and problem-solving abilities, among other qualifications. Based on the scores of the written examination, the committee will interview the candidates in late December. The committee will interview six or more people for each job opening, and candidates with tied written test scores above the cut-off will all receive interviews. The interview process will be used to judge the candidates on their fit, mental state, and language abilities. The result of the written examination and that of the interview will each account for 50 percent of the overall result. Candidates will be able to log onto the recruitment page to see their final results.
New graduates in 2019 whose expertise do not match with available positions could also enter their information on the recruitment page to join a talent database for the committee's future reference. Based on its needs, the organizing committee will organize recruitment for job seekers in this talent database according to the process stipulated by the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Winter Games Recruitment Management Method.
