Justin Hamilton scored a game-high 31 points as Beijing defeated Guangsha 95-91 to snap its eight-game winning streak in the 9th round of action of the 2018-2019 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Friday.

Against the hosts who remain unbeaten so far, Beijing led in the first quarter, enlarged the gap gradually with a 10-point advantage into the final quarter, keeping the victory firmly in hand the entire match.

Besides Justin Hamilton, Aaron Jackson of Beijing also scored 26 points, while Courtney Fortson and Ioannis Bourousis of Guangsha contributed only 24 points in total.

Seeking for its first three-game winning streak of the season, Liaoning failed to grab the chance again, losing to Jilin 100-106. Five players from Jilin earned double digits, helping Jilin to rally back in the final quarter.

In Friday's other matches, Aolong lost to Bayi 102-113, Qingdao beat Zhejiang 122-118, and Xinjiang edged Sichuan 118-109.
