Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made history on Sunday as he led Manchester United to a 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley, the sixth straight win after he took over as the caretaker manager three weeks ago.
The former Manchester United striker became the first man to win all of his opening six games as United manager. The Red Devils are still sixth but tied Arsenal with 41 points and six behind four-placed Chelsea.
Marcus Rashford fired past Hugo Lloris to give United all three points in the 44th minute.
But David De Gea proved Man of the Match as the Spanish goalkeeper pulled off a number of improbable saves to deny the hosts.
The defeat leaves Spurs nine points behind leaders Liverpool and two behind Manchester City, who play Wolves on Monday night.
Solksjaer said after the match: "You expect to win every single game at Manchester United. You won't, but you must think that. That's the mentality of this group.
"We created enough chances to put the game away by the break, but if you don't score you will be under pressure. We defended fantastically."
