CBA: Jackson scores 31 as Beijing sweep Guangsha 120-98

Aaron Jackson added a game-high 31 points to lead five players in double figures as Beijing Ducks won over Zhejiang Guangsha Lions 120-98 in the 32nd round of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) on Friday night.

Led by Justin Hamilton, Beijing took a 13-3 run and grabbed a 7-point lead in the first quarter thanks to some solid defensive play. Jackson brought energy in the second quarter, scoring 13 points to increase Beijing's advantage before Zhao Yanhao beat the shot clock with a jump shot to cut the deficit to 57-37.

Liu Xiaoyu got a driving layup and made a free throw in the third, pushing Beijing's lead to 30 points for the first time in the match.

In Friday's other matches, Sonny Weems and Malcolm Delaney combined for 56 points as Guangdong Southern Tigers beat local rivals Guangzhou Long-Lions 131-106. Tianjin Gold Lions beat Shanghai Sharks 128-102, Bayi Rockets won over Beikong Fly Dragons 104-91, Zhejiang Golden Bulls bested Qingdao Eagles 107-97, and Shenzhen Leopards defeated Fujian Sturgeons 115-103.
