Norwegian midfielder Ole Selnaes' two goals helped promoted Shenzhen beat Hebei China Fortune 3-1 at home on Saturday as the new season of the Chinese Super League kicked off.
Moroccan forward Ayoub El Kaabi broke the deadlock for Hebei China Fortune in the 38th minute, before Selnaes equalized during injury time of the first half.
Colombian striker Harold Preciado of Shenzhen scored in the 82nd minute to lead the game, and Selnaes scored again from a free-kick after 4 minutes to seal the victory for Shenzhen.
In Saturday's other match, Chongqing Lifan tied Guangzhou R&F with 2-2 at home. Brazilian striker Alan Kardec scored on a penalty in the 25th minute, but Ye Chugui of Guangzhou scored in the 55th minute to equalize.
Israeli striker Eran Zahavi's header in the 73rd minute gave Guangzhou R&F hope to win, but Kardec scored again during injury time to tie the game.
