Chinese college volleyball players will have their very first All-Star Game in May.

The Chinese University Volleyball Association (CUVA) All-Star Game will be held on May 25 in historic city of Suzhou in Jiangsu province, the first since the CUVA league was set up in 2006, organizers said on Monday night.

"The All-Star Game provide a fabulous platform for college volleyball stars to showcase their skills together," said Wei Huayi, presideng of Huayu Group, which serves as the league's business operator and promoter.

The voting for the All-Star game has been opened since last October, with the leading vote-getters collecting more than 30,000 votes. The voting will end on April 30th with a list of 21 top players.

The 2018-19 CUVA league kicked off on October 15th last year. After five months of intense competition among men's and women's volleyball teams from 92 colleges, the CUVA Finals will be held in May.
