Paris Saint-Germain had to wait for their Ligue 1 crown for at least one more round after losing the rescheduled match 3-2 away to Nantes on Wednesday.

PSG remain 17 points clear of second-placed Lille, but have only recorded one draw and two losses since they faced the opportunity of confirming title defense.

With at least nine regular faces sidelined, Kylian Mbappe left out from the squad and coach Thomas Tuchel serving suspension from the stand, PSG moved ahead through Dani Alves' spectacular lob in the 19th minute.

It took Nantes only three minutes to cancel out that, as Diego Carlos had a header from a corner kick on target.

They went on to grasp the advantage one minute before the break, when Kalifa Coulibaly sped past PSG defender Thilo Kehrer, and Samuel Moutoussamy guided Majeed Waris comfortable finish at the back post.

Following Alves' own goal seven minutes after the restart, Metehan Guclu latched onto Colin Dagba's cutback to get one back in his top-flight debut with pretty limited time remaining for PSG.

PSG could still clinch the league title on Sunday, if they beat last season's runners-up Monaco or Lille failed to win at Toulouse.
