Lillard's 50 points, buzzer-beater bounce Thunder

Damian Lillard hit a three-pointer on the buzzer and scored a total of 50 points to help the Portland Trail Blazers edge the Oklahoma City Thunder 118-115 on Tuesday.

With the victory, Portland ousted Oklahoma 4-1 from the playoffs and advance to the Western Conference semifinals to face either the Denver Nuggets or the San Antonio Kings.

28-year-old point guard Lillard had 10 three-pointers among his 50-point haul, 34 of which were gained in the first half. C.J. McCollum finished with 17 points for the Blazers and teammate Enes Kanter had 13 points and 13 rebounds.

Russell Westbrook contributed a triple-double of 29 points, 11 rebounds and 14 assists, and Paul George added 36 points for Oklahoma, who have been eliminated in the first round for three straight seasons.

Earlier on Tuesday, Denver trashed the Kings 108-90 to take a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven series.

In the Eastern Conference, the Toronto Raptors claimed a 115-96 win over the Orlando Magic to comfortably win their series 4-1 and set up a semifinal tie with the Philadelphia 76ers, who also sealed a 4-1 series win after routing the Brooklyn Nets 122-100.

Kawhi Leonard scored 27 points and Pascal Siakam added 24 as the Raptors, who have made six straight postseason appearances, reached the second round for the fourth straight year.

Joel Embiid led the Sixers with 23 points at home, while five other Philadelphia players made double figures, namely Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris, JJ Redick, James Ennis III and Jonathon Simmons.
