The Golden State Warriors will have to play without their top scorer Kevin Durant at least in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals.
"He hasn't even stepped on the floor yet," Kerr was quoted as saying by the NBA official website. "He still has pain. So there's time ahead of him on the rehab process."
Durant strained his right calf after attempting a jump shot late in the third quarter of conference semifinals Game 5 on May 8, and he immediately left for the locker room.
The Splash Brothers, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, spurred the Warriors in the rest of the series to finish off the Houston Rockets 4-2.
The Warriors will host the Portland Trail Blazers in the Game 1 of the Western Conference finals on Tuesday.
