The Netherlands and Canada have secured their berths in the last-16 of Women's World Cup on Saturday, after beating Cameroon and New Zealand respectively.

Cameroon once leveled the score just two minutes after Miedema's deadlock-breaker, but Dominique Bloodworth put the Oranjeleeuwinnen in front again shortly into the second half.

Miedema confirmed her team's victory in the 85th minute, as she raced forward unchallenged before firing a shot into the net.

In the late game of the evening, Canada dominated the game but took a while to find the net as Jessie Fleming broke the deadlock on Nichelle Prince's cross 3 minutes after the interval.

Prince sealed the win in the 79th minute when she followed to tap in a loose ball after Christine Sinclair's first attempt rattled the upright.

Canada and the Netherlands will compete for the top spot of Group E on June 20.
