Roger Federer won his 10th Halle title after easing 7-6(2), 6-1 past David Goffin in Sunday's final.

Federer has wrapped up his 102nd title of his career, and it is also the Swiss' 19th victory on grass. It is the first time that Federer has won 10 titles at one tournament.

"It's the first time ever I could win a title 10 times in one place, so it's obviously a very special moment in my career," Federer said.

The 37-year-old Swiss had to work hard in the first set but increased the pressure in the tiebreak to get 7-6 (7-2).

Belgium's David Goffin could not hold the pace in the second set as he started off with a double fault giving Federer a 1-0 lead.

Federer continued aggressive and broke Goffin again to secure a 3-1 lead. The World's No. 3 remained relentless and ran away 6-1 to seal his 10th title at Halle at 1 hour and 23 minutes.

"He was the better player for probably the first 10 games of the match. He had more chances. He had big chances, too. Then I played a really good tiebreak. It's unbelievable. I never thought when I first played here that I would win 10 title," Federer said.
