Shandong Luneng snapped Beijing Guoan's three-game winning streak with a 2-0 home victory in the Chinese Super League (CSL) on Sunday.

Shandong broke the deadlock by a wonderful goal from Roger Krug Guedes after 28 minutes before the Brazilian striker made the second by knocking the ball into the net from close range two minutes later, receiving a beautifully-weighted cross from Hao Junmin.

Beijing had a chance to pull one back before the break but Jonathan Viera Ramos's missile crashed onto the bar in the 40th minute.

Beijing rallied with a glut of chances throughout the second half, but they somehow failed to find the net.

This was the last match for Brazilian defender Gil in Shandong, who will go back to Brazil on Monday and join Corinthians.

Defending champions Shanghai SIPG edged Shenzhen 1-0 to secure their second placing, two points behind the leaders Beijing.

Brazilian striker Hulk missed a penalty eight minutes into the match but his compatriot Oscar put Shanghai ahead in the 49th minute, sweeping across the area and scoring with a superb low shot.

Elsewhere, Tianjin Tianhai drew with Jiangsu Suning 2-2 at home.
