With the NBA free market officially opening on July 1, multiple U.S. media outlets are reporting that Boston Celtics playmaker Kyrie Irving will be joining Kevin Durant and DeAndre Jordan at the Brooklyn Nets, signing a four-year deal worth 141 million U.S. dollars.
Irving, who averaged 23.8 points, five redounds, 6.9 assists, 1.54 steals, 0.51 blocks per game last season, is among the players whose decisions are likely to be hammered out on Sunday night.
According to NBA regulations, free agents are able to negotiate and reach an agreement with a team from July 1 until July 6, when the league's summer moratorium ends.
