Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain announced on Tuesday that defender Kevin Rimane has moved to Romanian club FC Hermannstadt on a permanent deal.

The 28-year-old joined PSG's youth academy in 2008, winning a French championship two years later with the U19 team.

Rimane made a total of five appearances and won three Ligue 1 championships, one French Super Cup and one French Cup with PSG's senior team

Rimane also became a mainstay of the PSG's reserve team from 2014 onwards after three seasons at Boulogne-sur-Mer.

In February 2019, he joined NK Istra 1961 on loan, finishing ninth in the Croatian championship.

"The club wishes Kevin the best in the challenges that now await him at FC Hermannstadt, in the city of Sibiu in Transylvania," PSG said in a statement.
