Sevilla have confirmed the signing of Mexican international striker Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez from English Premier League side West Ham United.

The 31-year-old has agreed a three-year contract until the end of June 2022 and cost around nine million euros (9.9 million US dollars).

It will be the Mexican's second spell in Spain after he spent the 2014-15 season on loan with Real Madrid from Manchester United.

He becomes Sevilla's 12th signing of a bust summer and at his presentation on Monday lunchtime the Mexican said the move to Sevilla was "great opportunity that has been given to me."

"This club demands the best and I have come here to do my best, because that is what you have to do here... I am going to give everything and I am going to return the confidence the club showed in me."

"Sevilla has to aim for everything; that is the demands of this club and this institution. Everyone knows the passion for football that this city has," said Hernandez. Enditem
