Beijing Guoan edge Tianjin to keep title hopes alive

Cedric Bakambu's goal and assist helped Beijing Guoan beat Tianjin Teda 3-1 in the 27th round of the Chinese Super League (CSL) on Saturday.

Bakambu broke the deadlock for his seventh goal of the CSL season in the 25th minute, before German forward Sandro Wagner scored his header in the 64th minute as an equalizer for Tianjin.

After Brazilian midfielder Renato Augusto helped Beijing lead again in the 80th minute, Wang Ziming sealed the win with a shot from Bakambu's pass.

Also on Saturday, Hebei China Fortune edged Guangzhou R&F 2-1 at home. After Israeli Eran Zahavi put the visitors ahead in the 37th minute, and Brazilian striker Marcos Vinicius equalized for Hebei with a header in the 68th minute, Marcos Vinicius made the winner from the spot in injury time.

Elsewhere, Shenzhen scored three goals in five minutes from 74th to 78th to draw Wuhan Zall 4-4.
