Liverpool remain six points clear at the top of the English Premier League after recovering from a Harry Kane goal after just 47 seconds to beat Tottenham 2-1 in a thrilling game on Sunday afternoon.

Tottenham had a chance to go 2-0 up early in the second half, but Son Heung-min's shot came back off the bar and the visitors ended up paying for the miss in a game where they had less than 25 percent of possession.

Meanwhile Friday night saw Leicester City make Premier League history as hat-tricks by Ayoze Perez and Jamie Vardy helped them to a 9-0 win away to Southampton, which is the biggest away victory in the history of the competition.
