Thanks to Tian Xin's goal in injury time, China overcame Tajikistan 2-1 in Zhuhai U22 tournament on Sunday.

Zhang Lingfeng broke the deadlock in the 55th minute. BoBoev Sheriddin equalized for Tajikistan only six minutes later, only to see Tian Xin score in the 91st-minute to seal the victory for China.

After the kick-off, China made immediate threats into the opponents' half. Huang Zichang's one-on-one was off the bar in the 18th minute, before Li Yang's solo was cleared by the keeper in the 25th minute.

The second half started with China's intense attacking wave. Zhang Lingfeng's low shot inside the penalty area in the 55th minute put China in front after Huang Zichang and Tianxin narrowly missed the target.

BoBoev Sheriddin headed a corner cross home to pull the game level in the 61st minute.

One minute into injury time, Tian Xin's right-footed curling effort sent the keeper hopeless and gifted the hosts victory.

Earlier in the other match, Al Anaout's goal lifted Syria a 1-0 win over Mali.

China will play Syria and Tajikistan will take on Mali on Wednesday.
