Liaoning Flying Leopards rallied from 20 points down to beat Zhejiang Lions 114-111 on the road in the Chinese Basketball Association on Tuesday.
Lance Stephenson was unstoppable in the fourth quarter where he made 16 of his 36 points, while point guard Guo Ailun and Zhao Jiwei added 16 points each for the visitors.
New signing Dezmine Wells scored a game-high 38 points for Zhejiang, but the 27-year-old who made nine of his 12 attempts in the first half, was unable to save the hosts as he missed his last attempt from the arc.
Zhejiang led 63-54 in the first half and once had the biggest advantage of 94-75 before Liaoning rallied from behind for a 39-15 run to tie 99-all first and turned over the table, with Stephenson scoring 16 points alone.
With 7.5 seconds remaining, Liaoning overtook the lead 114-111, forcing Wells to make his desperate three-pointer attempt.
