Shanghai Bright Ubest cruised into the Chinese women's volleyball league finals after a 3-1 home victory over Guangdong Evergrande here on Dec. 31.
The two sides shared the spoils in the best-of-three semifinals before Tuesday's game. With the absence of opposite Louisa Lippmann, Shanghai, the runner-up in 2018 still dominated the game with the scoreline of 25-15, 20-25, 29-27, 25-21.
Shanghai's Jordan Larsen provided a game-high of 22 points with Zhang Lei adding 16, while Tatyana Kosheleva led Guangdong with 21 points.
Shanghai will take on Tianjin Bohai Bank in the best-of-five finals which kick off on January 7.
