Three-time Olympic champion Bobby Morrow dies at 84

Bobby Morrow of the United States, winner of three gold medals at the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games, died on Saturday at the age of 84. His family said he died of natural causes at home in San Benito, Texas.
Morrow won the 100m and 200m in Melbourne and led the United States' 4x100m relay team, matching the world record of 20.6 seconds in the 200m and helping the relay squad set a world record of 39.5 seconds.
He remains one of four men to win Olympic 100m, 200m and 4x100m gold at the same Games, alongside Jesse Owens (1936), Carl Lewis (1984) and Usain Bolt (2012 and 2016).
The sprinter retired from athletics in 1958, and in a brief comeback bid in 1960 he failed to qualify for the U.S. Olympic team.
"Mr. Morrow's legacy will live on forever in San Benito," the San Benito school district said on Facebook.
