Zhou Peng, captain of Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) side Guangdong Southeast Tigers, has returned from a foot injury and resumed training, according to the team.
Zhou has fully recovered from the injury and will play for the team as soon as the league restarts, said Zhu Fangyu, general manager of Guangdong.
"He has started training with the team," Zhu added.
One of Zhou's left foot bones was fractured during training in August last year, and he missed the 2019 FIBA World Cup which was held in China from August 31 to September 15 last year.
With 28 wins and two losses, defending champions Guangdong rank first after 30 rounds of the 2019-20 season.
