Zhejiang rout Shandong for 2nd straight CBA win

With six players scoring in double digits, Zhejiang Golden Bulls crushed the Shandong Heroes 102-88 in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) here on Friday, reaping their second straight victory.

Launching a 9-0 run after the tip-off, Zhejiang established a 30-23 lead in the first quarter and extended it to 13 points at the end of the first half.

Shandong fought back and narrowed the gap to seven points in the third quarter, but Zhu Xuhang's three-pointers helped Zhejiang regain a double-digit advantage.

Although the Heroes came back again in the last quarter, the Golden Bulls maintained the lead until the end, with different players putting more on the scoreboard.

Zhu scored a game-high 25 points, and nine rebounds for Zhejiang, including six three-pointers, Cheng Shuaipeng and Wang Yibo, each had 17 points, and Wu Qian added 12 points.

On the Shandong side, Li Hongpeng took a team-high 21 points; Zhu Rongzhen contributed 11 points, Chen Peidong and Zhang Hui notched 10 points apiece.
