WCBA: Shanghai, Jiangsu and Inner Mongolia all smash their opponents

Inner Mongolia smashed Zhejiang 89-41 for its fourth straight win in this season's Women's Chinese Basketball Association (WCBA) league here on Wednesday.

Elsewhere, Shanghai trounced Fujian 94-59, and Jiangsu thrashed Dongguan 98-45.

Deemed as the title favorite after recruiting four national team players during the off-season, Inner Mongolia led the game from the beginning, leading 24-6 after the first quarter and 46-21 by half-time, and was never headed during the entire game.

Li Yueru got a game-high 22 points and 15 rebounds for Inner Mongolia, and Li Yuan pocketed 15 points. No one scored in double figures for Zhejiang.

Shanghai dominated its game after the second quarter, and earned its biggest lead of 39 points in the last quarter.

Ma Yufang of Shanghai got a game-high 20 points and Li Yingyun added 15 points. Wang Qiuyi pocketed a team-high 18 points for Fujian and Wei Yuchun added 12 points.

15 three-pointers helped Jiangsu sail past Dongguan and snatch its fifth straight win.

Jiangsu led the game from the first quarter by 22-9, and widened the advantage to 18 points after the second quarter, sealing the win after a fourth quarter score of 30-7.

Sun Li got a game-high 17 points for Jiangsu and Liang Jiamei added 15 points. Wang Zhen, the only player scoring in double digits for Dongguan, pocketed 16 points.
