Galatasaray striker Radamel Falcao has been left out of Colombia's squad for FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Uruguay and Ecuador because of a hamstring strain, the Colombian Football Federation (FCF) said on Sunday.

Cafeteros head coach Carlos Queiroz replaced the 34-year-old with uncapped Granada forward Luis Suarez.

Falcao sustained the injury while training with the Turkish club on Thursday and he was absent from the 2-1 win at Sivasspor in the Turkish Super Lig on Sunday.

Colombia's all-leading scorer has started the season in prolific fashion with five goals and two assists in seven matches for Galatasaray.

As expected, Queiroz's 24-man squad includes Everton pair James Rodriguez and Yerry Mina, Tottenham's Davinson Sanchez, Juventus winger Juan Cuadrado and Atalanta striker Duvan Zapata.

Colombia will meet Uruguay in Barranquilla on November 13 and Ecuador in Quito four days later.

Colombia squad:

Goalkeepers: David Ospina, Camilo Vargas, Alvaro Montero

Defenders: Luis Manuel Orejuela, Daniel Munoz, Yerry Mina, Davinson Sanchez, Jeison Murillo, Jhon Lucumi, William Tesillo, Frank Fabra, Johan Mojica

Midfielders: Juan Guillermo Cuadrado, Matheus Uribe, Jorman Campuzano, Wilmar Barrios, Jefferson Lerma, Edwin Cardona, James Rodriguez.

Forwards: Alfredo Morelos, Luis Suarez, Duvan Zapata, Luis Fernando Muriel, Luis Diaz.
