Dai Huaibo's six 3-pointers lifts Jilin past Loong Lions in CBA

Dai Huaibo's 25 points, including six three-pointers, helped Jilin Northeast Tigers defeat the Guangzhou Loong Lions 101-94 in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Friday.

Jilin struggled with a tough start, as the Loong Lions led 29-20 in the first quarter. However, the Northeast Tigers led 48-47 at halftime.

Jilin opened the second half with Zhong Cheng's 3-pointer and had a seven-point advantage heading into the final frame.

Guangzhou overtook again at 85-84 after Chen Yingjun's mid-range shot, but Jilin went on a 7-0 run to seal the victory.

Jilin, who fielded a line-up comprised of only domestic players, had five players scoring double digits. Ding Haoran scored 19 points and Cui Jinming added 16 points and eight assists. Chen led Guangzhou with 15 points.
