Commemorative coins of Beijing 2022 to be issued in early December

The People's Bank of China will issue commemorative coins (group 1) made of gold and silver for Beijing 2022 in early December this year, according to the Beijing Organising Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

Authorized by BOCOG, the commemorative coins are distributed by China Gold Coin Incorporation, and include three kinds of gold commemorative coins, five kinds of silver commemorative coins and one kind of gold and silver bimetallic commemorative coin, all of which are China's legal currencies.

Among the gold commemorative coins, the maximum circulation of 150g round gold commemorative coins is 1,000, and the maximum circulation of the other two kinds of 5g round gold commemorative coins is 40,000. In terms of silver commemorative coins, the maximum circulation of 150g round silver commemorative coins is 20,000, and the maximum circulation of the other four kinds of 15g round silver commemorative coins is 80,000. The maximum circulation of the round bimetallic commemorative coins with 30g gold and 12g silver is 10,000.
