DAS-Security becomes official partner of Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games

DAS-Security became the official cybersecurity partner of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 after signing an agreement with the organizers (HAGOC) on Monday in Wuzhen, east China's Zhejiang province.

The enterprise joined as the 10th official partner of the Games, alongside Geely Auto, Alibaba, Alipay, China Telecom, China Mobile, ICBC, 361sport, Zhejiang Loong Airlines and China Pacific Insurance.

"DAS-Security is a cybersecurity enterprise that develops against the backdrop of Zhejiang and Hangzhou's endeavour to play a leading role in the digital economy. We hope DAS-Security can take advantage of its expertise and innovative technologies to build a solid security network for a smart Hangzhou 2022," said Chen Weiqiang, deputy secretary-general of the HAGOC and vice mayor of Hangzhou.

DAS-Security was part of the cybersecurity program for multiple international comprehensive sports meets including the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games, Shenzhen 2011 Summer Universiade and Wuhan Military World Games. It will offer cybersecurity services for Hangzhou 2022 as a prestige partner.

"We will strive to provide an Internet safety net for a smart Hangzhou Asian Games with our system, becoming the shield for Hangzhou's digital economy and development," said Fan Yuan, chairman of DAS-Security, who initiated its "Security@Future" strategic plan, in accordance with the Games' slogan "Heart to Heart, @Future," and a "Dream Project" which appeals for Game-time volunteers in cybersecurity.
