World No. 1 Judd Trump won his 20th ranking title after defeating Jack Lisowski 10-7 in the final of the World Snooker Grand Prix on Sunday.

The 31-year-old Trump reached the final by sweeping six-time world champion Ronnie O'Sullivan 6-1 in Friday's semifinal.

Although his final opponent Lisowski pushed hard by winning four frames in a row to reduce his disadvantage to 6-7, Trump managed to finish the last tournament in 2020 with a 10-7 victory, leaving Lisowski still waiting for his first title.

The top 32 ranked players automatically qualified for the tournament. China's top player Ding Junhui was knocked out by Hossein Vafaei from Iran in the second round.

Zhao Xintong of China reached the quarterfinals but lost to Lisowski 5-3.
