Qingdao Huanghai extend contract with head coach Wu

Qingdao Huanghai FC announced on Thursday that their first team head coach Wu Jingui has signed a contract extension with the Chinese Super League (CSL) outfit.

"During the 2020 CSL campaign, Mr. Wu Jingui and his coaching staff brought positive changes to the team after taking over from the third round of the first phase. They helped the team accomplish the task of staying in the top flight, and won approval and acknowledgment from the club, team, media, and supporters," Qingdao Huanghai FC said in a statement.

"In recent days the club finished the job of extending the contracts with Mr. Wu and his coaching staff," the club said.

According to the statement, Wu will join up with his team in Kunming, Yunnan to kick off winter training.
