There seem no limits for Bayern's gifted youngster Jamal Musiala.

While the Bavarians are on their way to winning their ninth consecutive league title, the 18-year-old attacker continues his stunning rise to the top.

This summer, the son of a German mother and a Nigerian father might reach new heights as a vital member of the German squad for the delayed 2020 European Championship.

Like his Munich teammates, pundits and fans, German national coach Joachim Loew is said to be amazed by the wunderkind's latest performances. Despite vast expectations, Musiala is consistently delivering new successful chapters to his story.

More than any other promising player, he stands for a new generation and a brighter future for the country's struggling national team.

The Bayern youngster can be the piece of the puzzle that Loew has been desperately looking for. Not only is the coach hoping his recent arrival can trigger a better mood within the national team after dark years following the triumphal march in Brazil five years ago.

Bayern icon Didi Hamann predicted a career at the top for Musiala. "I don't know what he can't do. He seems to have unique abilities," the 2005 Champions League winner commented.

Before slipping into the German shirt for a major tournament, the outstanding talent will celebrate his first national title after signing a 5-year-contract shortly after his 18th birthday on February 24th.

In the middle of Bayern's troubles revolving around the future of coach Hansi Flick, the forward has become the club's man of the hour.

Like a slalom skier, he ghosted his way through the Wolfsburg defense before scoring the winning goal with an acrobatic header.

Flick expressed his deep satisfaction with his player's development. "He has been working hard this week with a heading pendulum," the Bayern coach said.

Flick admitted Musiala has been affected by the hype surrounding him but still managed to produce a solid performance. "He had to go through tougher times after a good start to the season. But that's normal for such a young player. I'm impressed about how he has gone about finding form again."

He became Bayern's youngest debutant in the Bundesliga at 17 years and 115 days in June 2020 against SC Freiburg (3-1). Scoring his first goal in the encounter against Schalke (8-0) made him the youngest scorer in Bavarian's history.

Scoring two goals against Wolfsburg (3-2) made him Bayern's youngest "double"-scorer and the youngest player to score six goals.
