The Chinese Super League (CSL) has decided to provide 5,000 more tickets for sale for its 2021 season opener to satisfy the needs of the fans.

The sale of the tickets for the season opener, which is to be played between Guangzhou FC and Guangzhou City on Tuesday, has gone unexpectedly well, the CSL official social media Weibo said.

"The tickets of some categories were sold out within two days after the sale channels were opened. We will add five thousand more tickets for sale," the CSL said.

Around 30,000 fans will be allowed into the Guangzhou Tianhe stadium to watch the first Guangzhou derby of the new season.
