An online promotion activity featuring railway stations between Beijing and Zhangjiakou was launched in Zhangjiakou, the co-host city of the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games, on April 18.

The three-day event was jointly organized by the Beijing branch of the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC), the Hebei branch of the CAC, the Media and Communications Department of the Beijing Organising Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, the China Railway Beijing Group Co., Ltd., and the Temporary Party Committee formed by the fifth batch of government officials on assignment in Hebei province.

During the event, online media outlets, commercial platforms, and internet celebrities in Beijing and Hebei will be invited to take a high-speed train and visit the construction sites of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.

The organizers hope to showcase the results so far achieved in the coordinated development of the region, as well as the ongoing developments and preparations for the Winter Olympics. The participants are expected to share whatever they come across during the trip.

The Beijing Daily app and BRTV will live-stream the launch ceremony of the event, the National Ski Jumping Center nicknamed "Snow Ruyi," which located in the Zhangjiakou competition zone, as well as stops at various stations along the Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed rail. Major commercial news websites will also report the activity as it progresses.
