Dalian Pro bag first win, Changchun hold Shanghai Port

Dalian Professional FC bagged its first win of the season after defeating Tianjin Jinmen Tigers 1-0, while Changchun Yatai had a goalless draw with Shanghai Port in the fourth round of Chinese Super League (CSL) on Tuesday.

Dalian was the only team which suffered a three-match losing streak after the third round of the season. With the desire for the first point, the Dalian side controlled first half of the match but missed all opportunities. In the 9th minute, Wang Jinxian almost break the deadlock for Dalian, but his header hit the post and bounced away.

In the 74th minute, the Tigers got an golden chance in a counterattack, but Dalian's goalkeeper Zhang Chong made three consecutive diving saves to deny the goal.

Marcus Danielson scored the opening goal for Dalian in the 79th minute, when the Swedish center-back volleyed the ball into the net thanks to a headed pass from Lin Liangming.

After the loss, Tianjin now sits in the bottom of the league table with one draw and three defeats. Dalian moves to the 12th place.

Elsewhere on Tuesday, Changchun dominated the begining of the match, while Shanghai built a solid defense during the whole match. Both team had a few kicks hitting the post, but missed them all, to see the match end with a goalless tie. Shanghai's striker Marko Arnautovic was forced off the pitch in the 60th minute due to injury.

Shanghai Port now has eight points to rank second in the CSL table, while Changchun remain undefeated with one win and three draws.
