Beijing 2022 news

As the only underground support facility for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games, the Ice Sports Center will be used in conjunction with the Ice Cube during the Games. The center is now in its final phase of construction and is due to open in time for Winter Olympics test events in October.

Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games opening ceremony

The opening ceremony of the 2020 Paralympic Games is set to take place Tuesday at the National Stadium in Tokyo. The organizing committee has announced the concepts for the opening and closing ceremonies, backing up the overall message of "Moving Forward."

UEFA Champions League group stage draw

The ceremony for the 2021/22 UEFA Champions League group stage draw will be held Thursday in Istanbul, Turkey. Twenty-six teams have qualified automatically for the group stage, with the final six group stage berths to be decided via play-offs.
